Test and learn to optimise performance

One of my first pitch wins for VCCP (I led pitch proposal and presentation) was with Travelopia for VCCP’s first optimisation projects.
A CRO roadmap was developed and test design focussed on optimising different stages of the user journey:
Arrive - Reducing the bounce for new and returning visitors

Browse - Increasing the proportion of visitors viewing destination, hotel and itinerary pages
​
Convert - Increasing the proportion of visitors requesting a quote or brochure.
​
Tests were designed, deployed and measured in sprints, ensuring that Hayes & Jarvis generated quick learnings.
​
Successful activity was added to the product backlog and rolled-out in time for peak trading, ensuring that site engagement and lead generation was fully optimised.
