The O2 Shop redesign project has completely revamped the mobile customer purchase journey from ‘checkout’ all the way back through to ‘product listings’ pages, taking a mobile led approach and utilising data and insight to steer design.
The new designs give a much cleaner and more engaging online shopping experience, following a drive to increase our leadership position in eCommerce. The new experience has incorporated reduced information density on pages, as well as utilising the latest brand typography, colour palette and digital gradients. Further they have addressed customer pain points, such as improved layouts specifically for tablet breakpoints and better navigation.

We produced and delivered a dynamic UI toolkit to support new streamlined journeys to enhance and help improve the customer experience. As well as for the short term O2 Shop project. This work has gone on to act as the foundations for a larger design system used for UX and UI across O2 Accelerate: O2's digital transformation programme - their biggest business and platform overhaul to date. Seamless Shopping

The online shop at O2.co.uk has seen phenomenal growth in recent years. As customer expectations for seamless and frictionless online shopping continue to rise, O2 has set an ambition to keep one step ahead of the competition.
In collaboration with the O2 in-house design & build teams. We worked in sprint teams of user experience and visual designers.
We researched how customers use the site, and investigated the possible futures of ecommerce. We went into a stage of imagining what the future of O2’s online shop could be.
We then carried out a programme of work to supercharge the shop user experience and interface design. Cumulating in not only revised and optimised journeys but also a design system that is now being used as the foundation for all ongoing optimisation and enhancements across all online services .
