In my second year at VCCP I was given direct ownership and leadership of VCCP Visual and Motion Design teams in an effort to drive the same change, bar-raising and efficiencies in delivery that I had delivered for UX. My first initiative in this new role was to create a new design system for easyJet.

 

The design system, also known as the WOO (World of Orange) is at the heart of transforming the easyJet experience. It is a tool that powers the consolidated digital ecosystem, allowing any stakeholder to roll-out new products and platforms efficiently and at scale.

The system provides a single source of truth for any design decisions across digital properties. It provides an efficient and flexible way for designers to create beautiful UI for any products and experiences without the traditional workflow overhead.
